This website is operated by Initiatives for Sustainable Socio-Economic Development (“ISSED”), a non-governmental organisation established in Malawi in June 2015 and headquartered in Lilongwe. By using the site you accept these terms.

Use of the site

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage or impair it.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its server, or any connected system.
• Submit content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Use automated systems to scrape, overload, or interfere with the site’s normal operation.

Content and accuracy

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we provide it for general information only. Programme descriptions, objectives and indicators reflect ISSED’s planned and ongoing work, and may change. Nothing on this site constitutes professional advice.

Intellectual property

The ISSED name, logo, text, images and design on this site belong to ISSED or are used with permission. You may read, share and quote reasonable extracts with attribution. You may not reproduce the site’s content commercially, or use the ISSED name or logo to imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist, without our written consent.

Donations

• Donations are processed by our payment provider, PayChangu. Their terms apply to the payment transaction itself.
• A donation is only complete once we have confirmed it with the payment provider. A confirmation page or email is your record.
• Where you direct a gift to a specific area of work, we will apply it to that area. If that area is already fully funded, we will apply it to the closest related need and tell you.
• Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error or duplicated, contact us within 30 days and we will look into it.
• You confirm that any funds you donate are lawfully yours to give.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malawi, and the courts of Malawi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
